A. R. Arias is a freelance writer and blogger who has authored three novels. He began writing his debut novel, A Death for Beauty, in 2007 and published it in 2010.

He also authored Oceans, a coming-of-age story based on real events from his childhood home in Arecibo, Puerto Rico.

Asylum Earth: Age of the Apocalypse is his third novel based on a board game, whose main character, a Cyborg named Andrea, tells her story of transformation and survival via entries in her journal.
